Influence
Crescent Magazine
is in the process of collecting for our website, personal written experiences
(approx 300-600 words) of the interaction of art and spirituality, and
the forces of fate that bind and weave them. It is the nature of life
that we are influenced by many things, seen and unseen. These influences
in turn change and form the path of our spiritual and artistic lives.
As Pagans, we often find our lives are defined and colored by a variety
of threaded occurences of the divine nature, often turning us from skeptics
to seers,ng wide the doors of wisdom. In order to express and to
explore these mystical revelations deeper, many of us turn to the arts.
So inversely, the arts and spirituality grow hand in hand. We ask you
to consider pivotal times in your life that these influences were at work,
and share with us your experiences. Feel free to illustrate a single event
or a related group that shaped your life and your art. Let us know if
