|  | IMBOLG and NORSE MYTHOLOGY, Volume 2, 1998, Number 2
There are a limited number of copies of this issue still available in printed form. Features include an Artist Profile on Paul Carrick (BFA Rhode Island School of Design, 1995) with a color page for his painting of Freya. Illustrations in this issue include four vivid pieces of art work in scratchboard by Eric Sabee (BFA Rhode Island School of Design, 1997) People of the North: a study of religion among the Germanic peoples, an article by Michael J. Boyle, is a comprehensive examination of the religion and culture of the Norse. This issue's interview with Lazarus Chernik is an incredible look at the history, mythology and use of the runes and their place in Norse culture. Meander Through Time, by Khristine Annwn Page, is an exploration of the snake as a seasonal symbol in association with the Goddess Brighid. The Theft of the Hammer is a comic by Jen Fridy. WARD's section begins in this issue with a list of State Directors and a letter from the National Director. HerbWise, WitchBlends, and Yesterday and Today also begin as regular sections. |  |

MIDSUMMER and TAROT, Volume 2, 1997, Number 1
This issue is no longer available in printed form. However, selected portions of the issue will soon be published here. Cover © 1997 by Khristine Annwn Page. Features include an Artist Profile on Deidre Sassano (BFA Rhode Island School of Design, 1997) in which her sculptures of the Tarot can be seen. Eloquent invocations by Michael J. Boyle are beautifully complimented with art work by Eric Sabee (BFA Rhode Island School of Design, 1997) Midsummer: The Triumph of the Sun, an article by Michael J. Boyle, gives an in-depth look at the history and a wonderfully detailed description of the customs and lore surrounding one of our Sabbats. Pictorial Communication, by Khristine Annwn Page, is a chronicle of the origins and use of the Tarot through the ages which also examines the methods of symbology and imagery employed by the cards. The sections Musical Impression by Lilianna Moonchylde and Online Concerns: Internet begin in this issue. The Un-Bound page found in the center of the magazine is a full color image on parchment by Khristine Annwn Page, complimented with a Meditation written by Michael J. Boyle. Book Reviews, The Query, News, Witches in the World: Interviews and Mythologies are among CRESCENT'S regular sections.
