A Behind the Scenes Look
This section is made of three parts — each is
intended to give a different perspective on the art work created
for "The Burning Times" exhibition as well as a behind
the scenes look at how the work was conceived, the effects of producing
the show on the artist, and the ultimate purpose and function of
this powerful and evocative body of work.
Part I: Artist Statement
is Laura's concept of her work. It explores the function of the
Artist-as-Mythmaker in our society and delves into the reasons this
