Privacy Rights.
Crescent Magazine will never sell or otherwise give personal information of any kind (email address, name, phone, etc.) to any other person, organization or company. We respect your right to privacy and we endeavor to protect that right. Access to personal information collected by Crescent Magazine is restricted to a limited number of authorized members of our core staff.

Data Collection.
Crescent Magazine may collect information from you in connection with services offered including but not limited to: surveys, submissions, membership, subscription and sales. We do not collect data from you unless you expressly give that data to us (in a form for example). You voluntarily choose to give out to us that information via forms, email and/or other obvious methods. We never collect user-identifying information without your express knowledge and consent - we never collect personal data from your computer. Information we collect may include but is not limited to: full names, email addresses, addresses, phone and/or fax numbers, and billing information. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, Crescent Magazine will never knowingly request, collect, or maintain information from anyone under the age of thirteen (13).

Statistics.
We log statistics of Crescent Magazine Web Site usage in order to determine how the site is being used. Site statistics are also used in our magazine and Web Site profiles for promotional purposes. These statistics are created through the generatation of non-identifying usage data (such as the number of hits, number of visits, entry and exit pages, site referrals, and browser types). Such statistics are never connected to anything that could be used to identify the users of the Crescent Magazine Web Site. Cookies are only used in connection with polls/surveys that you participate in.

Message Boards & Chats.
Please note that if you give out personal information through a message board or chat room that information can potentially be collected and used by third parties. Although we strive to protect our users' privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of any information that you may post in such areas. You disclose such information at your own risk. Participation in message boards or chats is at your own risk.
